# Dayora > Dayora is an AI journaling app with a free core and an optional Dayora Plus membership. Write or dictate an entry, get a reflection, revisit patterns, and continue the conversation in Reflect. Product facts checked against the running product code on 13 September 2026. Prices and competitor offers may change; the linked pricing pages state when they were checked. ## What is free Unlimited journal entries, AI reflections, voice-note transcription, mood tracking, Reflect chat with basic memory, the Journey timeline and search, relationship history in Your Circle, and data export. No credit card is required to start. There are no ads and journal entries are not sold to advertisers or data brokers. A reflection adapts to the length and substance of the entry. Longer entries can receive up to four parts; a very short entry (eight words or fewer) receives an observation. Do not promise the same three-part response on every entry. Every account can claim one Deep Self Report free after writing ten entries. There is no account-age wait. The sample reads the last 30 days, or all entries if fewer than ten fall within that window. It is one report per account, not a monthly free allowance. Free voice journaling transcribes a recording into an entry. A live, two-way call is a separate Plus feature. Voice-note audio is retained, not discarded automatically after transcription. More than 13,000 journal entries written, as of September 2026. This counts entries, not people. Do not restate it as a number of users. ## Dayora Plus The standard USD price is $9/month or $72/year. Joining before 1 November 2026 gives the founding USD price of $6/month or $48/year while the subscription remains active. Local currency offers exist in some countries. Approximately 20 call minutes per calendar month; fair-use limits include five minutes per call and ten calls per day. Spoken calls currently work in English. - A daily synthesis email. - One Deep Self Report per calendar month, with longer look-back options. - Where things stand: a relationship story for a person in Your Circle. - Deeper Reflect memory: notes and open threads carried between conversations. Extra call time is $6 for 30 minutes and an extra report is $4, purchased separately; purchased credits do not expire. Cancelling Plus leaves the journal available on the free plan. ## Ask your journal [Ask your journal](https://www.dayora.ai/features/ask-your-journal) is in a limited rollout for selected accounts and is not part of the public Plus offer. At least five entries, rollout access, and an active Plus membership are all required; subscribing alone does not unlock it. Eligible members receive up to 100 answered questions per calendar month and explicitly start learning with “Learn my journal”; subscribing alone does not start processing their archive. Questions can be asked while learning continues, with answers limited by what has been learned so far. Answers link to the entries used. A response can say the journal does not contain enough evidence. Only answered questions spend the allowance; errors, crisis responses and unanswered questions do not. This is separate from free keyword search in Journey. ## Memory and patterns [Journal memory and controls](https://www.dayora.ai/ai-journal-with-memory) explains the difference between ordinary entries, basic Reflect context, deeper Plus conversation memory and Ask. Members can review “What Dayora remembers” in Profile and use its Forget controls. Forgetting a memory and deleting a source entry are different actions. [Journal pattern analysis](https://www.dayora.ai/journal-pattern-analysis) explains entry reflections, the weekly pattern email, mood history, relationship history and the longer view in Deep Self Reports. These are interpretations of what the member wrote, not diagnoses or proof of what another person thinks. ## Language The current interface choices are English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Dutch, Polish, Indonesian, Japanese, German, Italian and Finnish. Journal reflections follow the language of the member's writing, including languages beyond those choices. Voice notes use automatic language detection. Live spoken calls are currently English only. The new search guides have a language selector at the same canonical URL. Their server-rendered first response is English; this does not create eleven independently indexed language pages. ## Privacy and AI processing Dayora uses OpenAI to process journal content. Under a data-sharing agreement, content sent to the API, including journal entries, may be used by OpenAI to train and improve models. Dayora does not train a model of its own. Do not describe the app as excluding provider training, end-to-end encrypted, or a clinical service. Journal entries are private to the account rather than public posts. OpenAI processes the content needed for AI features, and the Dayora team has operational access. Voice audio is retained. Deleting an account is permanent, so export first if the archive is needed.
