The core is free, and it stays free. Nothing you use today moved behind the paywall: unlimited entries, AI reflections, voice journaling, mood tracking, Reflect chat, Your Circle, export, and the daily and weekly emails are all still included at no cost. Dayora Plus only adds what was never available to everyone: voice calls with Dayora, a daily synthesis email, Deep Self Reports, mirror moments, relationship stories for the people in your Circle, and Reflect that remembers. The members who pay for those are what let us keep the other promises, no ads and no data selling.

On the free plan, a little: Reflect carries a short summary of your recent conversations, your last week of entries, and the light memory Dayora builds from your entries, and that never changes. Reflect that remembers is the Plus layer on top. Dayora keeps what your conversations establish, the people in your life and what is going on with them, the decision you are still weighing, the date that matters, and the next conversation opens with whatever the last one left open. Every account, free or Plus, can see all of it under Profile and forget any line of it for good. Nothing is remembered from a conversation where you were in a hard place, and Dayora never brings up somebody you have set aside in Your Circle.

You tap the orb and talk. It opens with something it remembers from your recent writing, then mostly listens: no forms, no back-and-forth chat to keep up with, and it answers when you actually ask it something. Six minutes in the car before work is a typical call. When you hang up, the call saves to your journal in your own words, with the same three-part reflection every written entry gets. About 20 minutes are included each month.

The themes you keep returning to, the contradictions and blind spots, the people who recur and how your days land around them, what gives and drains energy, and what has genuinely moved over months. Every observation quotes your own entries and links back to them; anything that cannot be verified word for word against what you wrote is dropped, and a section the material cannot honestly support is skipped rather than padded. You can exclude people, topics, or specific entries before it runs, and rate every claim afterwards.

Dayora Plus, and the top-ups that go with it. Nothing else. $9 a month or $72 a year, and then $6 for 30 extra call minutes or $4 for an extra Deep Self Report if someone wants more than the membership includes. We do not run ads, we do not sell or rent your data, and we take no cut from anyone else. If Plus covers the bills, the free core stays free.

Make a free account first, then open Settings and then Plan inside the app. That screen is where Plus is joined, where the price is shown to you one more time before anything is charged, where a top-up is bought, and where it is cancelled. Cancelling takes the same two taps as joining and can be done the same day. The account has to come first for a plain reason: a Deep Self Report is written from what you have already written, and the daily synthesis is written from your entries, so Plus has nothing to read until there is a journal. Checkout runs on the web at dayora.ai. Nothing you wrote is ever deleted, whether you join, cancel, or never join at all.

Not for your first one. Every account gets one full 30-day Deep Self Report free, ever, including accounts that never pay for anything. It unlocks once the account is 14 days old and has 10 entries written, because a report is read out of what you have already written and there has to be some of it. Until then it simply waits: it never expires, it needs no card, and generating it starts no trial and no subscription. It is a gift rather than a teaser, and Dayora shows you no upgrade prompt at all while it is sitting there unclaimed. The longer reads, across 90 days, a year, or your whole journal, come with Plus, one included each month, or $4 each on their own.

Yes, and here it is before you pay rather than after. Plus is not unlimited. Every month it includes about 20 minutes of voice calls with Dayora, one Deep Self Report, and the daily synthesis email. That included allowance resets on the first of each month. If you want more in a given month you can buy it on the spot, $6 for 30 extra call minutes or $4 for an extra Deep Self Report, as one-off purchases rather than a second subscription. Live voice and whole-history reports are the two most expensive things Dayora does, billed to us by the minute and by the run, which is why those two are metered and nothing else is. Individual calls are also capped at 5 minutes each, and 10 calls a day.

The calls and the Deep Self Reports pause, and that is the entire consequence. Your journal is never touched by any of this. Writing, three-part reflections, voice journaling, mood tracking, Reflect chat, Your Circle and export are free, and none of them are counted against the allowance, so journaling as much as you like cannot use it up. When you run out you have two options and both are fine: wait for the first of the next month, when the included allowance resets, or buy a top-up, $6 for 30 more call minutes or $4 for another Deep Self Report. We tell you once, plainly, and then we leave you alone. If you keep running out and that looks wrong for how you use Dayora, write to human@dayora.ai and we will sort it out.

No. Never. Minutes and reports you have paid for sit on your account until you use them, with no clock on them and no end-of-month sweep. The allowance included with your membership does reset each month, because that is what the $9 covers for that month, but anything you bought on top of it stays yours. Included minutes are always spent first, so a top-up is never quietly drained while you still have free ones left. Expiring something a person has already paid for is a trick, and we would rather not be the kind of company that plays it.

Everything you wrote stays yours, fully accessible, on the free tier. You just lose calls, daily synthesis, and pattern detection across long time windows. No entry is ever deleted when you downgrade. Any top-up credit you bought stays on your account as well, still unexpired, and it is there waiting if you ever come back.

Yes, by OpenAI. Entries are sent to OpenAI to write your reflection, and under our agreement that content can be used to train and improve OpenAI's models, in exchange for the free usage that helps keep the core free. Dayora trains no model of its own, and the memory it keeps is per-account and editable by you.
